Project for Threatening Behaviour from Children

Family Safe is a confidential service for lone parents facing threats or violence from their children. Access this through the Lone Parent Helpline on 0800 018 5026 Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, Wednesday 9am - 8pm.

This confidential service is run by One Parent Families Gingerbread in partnership with Parentline Plus. 

Threats and violence from children to parents is a difficult and growing problem. Get specialist help now by phoning the Lone Parent Helpline, and ask for the Family Safe service. A specialist counsellor can phone you back over a period of time, giving specialist advice and support. 
 
If you are a lone mother or father or are working with Lone Mothers and Lone Fathers make a note of our Lone Parent Helpline number  - 0800 018 5026 - as well as the Family Safe service, we give expert advice and information, backed up by quality fact sheets on the range of issues lone parents face.  Child support / education /  employment / housing / welfare benefits / separation & divorce / teenage pregnancy. 

We also run a specialist telephone advice service for lone parents with a disabled child.
